Just My iPhone
My MacBook’s been in the hands of Geniuses for the past few days, so I’ve had to do all of my general computing on my iPhone. Sure, it was a little like going on a camping trip — instead of a fan-forced oven, I had a camping stove — but it actually went pretty well. The only two issues I came across while using the iPhone for my everyday computing were:
- The screen started to feel a little cramped for web browsing after a while, and
- I wished I could use a keyboard with my iPhone to type out longer-form text.
A larger iPhone that can be docked to a keyboard? It’ll never happen.
For the record, y’know what I didn’t have any complaints about? Multitasking. You can switch between well-made iPhone apps just fine. If an app doesn’t remember what you were doing just before you closed it, it’s a shitty application.
