Have I mentioned lately how Kickstarter is the future of funding and distributing creative projects?

I haven’t? Well, it totally is. Kickstarter is as revolutionary as Digg — they just haven’t had their Paris Hilton moment yet.

I love how Andrew is funding this project — he writes a short story every week, and you pay to submit any word for him to include in the story. After six weeks, he’s going to publish his first book, The Collective, using the money he gets from people submitting words to him for his short stories.

Like I said — this stuff is the future of creativity.

By the by, my copy of Cadence & Slang mini (another book from Kickstarter) arrived today. After reading it, I’m totally buying the full book.
