iftop

iftop : bandwidth usage :: top : CPU usage

Requires a teensy bit of fu to master (remember, “en1” is (usually!) the interface for your AirPort card), but

$ sudo iftop -Pi en1

should get you off to the races.

(Obligatory disclaimer — don’t sudo something unless you’re SUre what it’s DOing.)
