Things I’ve Learned Playing Canabalt
Obstacles are sometimes your friend…
Listen closely for small details…
Chase your own top score…
Know when to stop…
Fantastic post by Patrick. Seriously — I had thought these things with regard to playing the game, but hadn’t realised that they could be applied so well to real-life.
Now the things I’ve learned playing Canabalt:
- You can’t jump anywhere near as far in real-life as you can in an iPhone game.
- It turns out that my insurance does not cover glass-window-and-subsequent-falling-related injuries sustained while jumping from building to building.
- So I was wrong.
