I’m Going To Write Something.
I want to be more creative. I want to make more things, and I don’t think the key to getting that done is speccing out a Hackintosh to plug into the TV or finding a new To-Do List application or finding the best way to sort my RSS feeds or coming with up with some other heinous meta-meta bullshit that doesn’t really enrich my life all that much..
So I’m going to write something. I really am. I figure that if I say that publicly, I will somehow be more obligated to actually do it. Maybe it’s the first chapter of a novel. Maybe it’s a story that happens to be short. Maybe it’s a screenplay. Hell, maybe it’s a desktop application for a Macintosh computer. Who knows. At this point, I’m just going to try and find out exactly what it is that I want to make and then make the shit out of it.
