Block Flash in 64-Bit Safari Under Snow Leopard!
Safari 4 running on Snow Leopard is wicked fast. Too fast, even. It makes Speedy Gonzales look like Regular Gonzales. Unfortunately, since Safari is a 64-bit application, it can’t load 32-bit plugins (aka basically all Safari plugins up until now). The most important plugin for me is some way of blocking Flash, the scourge of the Internet. Well, I found a way: ClickToFlash. The most recent beta version (1.5fc2) works great — it even replaces the Flash videos on YouTube with the h.264 versions!
With that out of the way, most of my Snow Leopard annoyances are gone. Let me know when Minuteur and Offline Gmail work.
