First Post, Directions

I don’t know what I want to do with this blog. Often, I’ll read an article or something and want to pass it along to people and say something about it. Until now, I’ve been doing that on Twitter, but by the time you put the URL in, you’ve got about 125 or so characters to make a point. Most of the time, I’m all for brevity (in fact, I usually spell it “brvty” so I can write and read it faster), but sometimes I want to make a point that needs more than ten words to justify.

So that’s what I think this blog will be. A kind of Daring Fireball-esque link list, plus some commentary. I’d also like to do some creative writing, but who knows if that will ever happen.

That’s enough meta-meta BS out of me.
